Having been a victim of the old cartoon series, I left watching this movie for a long while until I was literally forced to go to the cinema to watch it.
How wrong I was in expecting several hours of poor effects and storyline.
The special effects are some of the best I have seen for years and the sound track makes the movie not just a good movie to watch but a great movie to experience.
I would advise watching in the cinema if possible to get the best out of the movie. This is one of those movies which looses some of it's wow factor when viewed at home, although buying the DVD after watching it at the cinema will no doubt be a priority.
Good v Evil is the basic concept of the movie which see's the good guys the Autobots led by Optimus Prime battle the Decepticons who are led by Megatron, with all the action taking place on earth as the battle ground.
With at least one follow up due in 2009 I shall leave it to you to decide who won this round of the the on going battle?
