Full Review:
Nominated for the Academy Award for art direction/set decoration and visual effects. This story is set well in the future and deals with a society that has created perfectly manufactured human replicas, called replicants. Eventually a small group of them malfunctions and they massacre a crowd of humans.

The order is then issued for them to be hunted down and destroyed. Deckard, a blade runner, or police officer, is sent out to find the remaining five replicants in a major metropolis. This film gives a very unique look at man's ambition to give life to machines and what might happen if that ever occurs.

Like a number of other popular sci-fi films, this film has developed an incredible cult following over the years. Since the film’s release, there had been a heated debate between Blade Runner fans. The question was: is Deckard a replicant himself? Well, Scott answered that question once and for all in a recent interview. The answer is yes, Deckard is indeed a replicant.
