This movie is very fast paced. Be prepared for a lot of action, and you need to pay attention to what's going on. This movie takes place in Spain. There is a global summit on terror where the President of the U.S. is coming to speak. As he stands up to speak he is shot. Who did it? What happened? And, why? The main star of the movie is Secret Service Agent Barnes, played by Dennis Quaid. He has been off duty ever since he took a bullet for the president, and now he will be tested at his first assignment back. Can he solve this mystery? The first hour of the movie follows several different "vantage points" of what occurs; a news station, Agent Barnes, an American tourist with a video camera, a Spanish police officer, the President, and the ones involved in the terrorist assassination plot. It is interesting because just when you think you're going to figure out what happened they rewind the action and you get to see what happened from someone else's point of view. Finally, you get to see how everything plays out. I enjoyed this movie. It has a lot of action and is fast paced. You keep trying to figure out how everyone's vantage point ties together to provide the whole picture. I would recommend it if you're looking for an action packed, suspenseful movie.
