This film is the story of how Anakin Skywalker and Princess Amidala fall in love and Anakin's first steps on the trail to the dark side of the force. This film is certainly better than the first episode. The story is more clearly defined and the action is more highly paced.

But the more we see of the new Star Wars movies, the more disappointed we become. It’s fairly obvious that George Lucas has either lost or gained something in the last twenty years and it is effecting the results of his movies. There just isn’t the magic that there was.

But we don’t want to attack this film. It has a lot of redeeming qualities. It’s just possible that it’s being held up to a standard that may be a little too high.
