Hostel is about two friends who go backpacking. They are lead to booze, drugs, and sex. When told to go to Amsterdam to meet beautiful girls, they fall upon one of the worst and maybe last experiences of their lives. One of the two friends ends up missing, while the other is in desperate need to find his friend not aware that he has been captured and is being tortured.

The film in the beginning drags because of all the references to drugs and sex. However half way through the movie it picks up. Not much of a horror but a very gory film. Hostel contains a very simple plot and twist. You will just reply to the twist with a simple "ok?"

I recommend everyone to wait for the rental, it is not worth the $10.50. This film does not represent one of Tarantino’s best work, however it is still an ok film.
